The best emulator to date

Okay fellow MMOwned member...
After playing around with some ArcEmu repacks, not anything crazy, just precompiled or at least that is what I think (I dindn't find any wired stuff ingame, and the sqldatabse seemed normal.)
Anyways! Ive got a hold of how the hole system works, with the sqldatabase, the luascripts, client, server etc.
Currently I'm running everything on a local virtual server and before I start creating every thing, I want to get a good Emulator, actually I want the most stable one.

So I ask you dear community! What is currently the best emulator (the most stable one) and would you mind posting some links to some tutorials on how to compile it.
If you have time, would you mind adding some links to beginner threads (lua, customizations, etc.)
And add some personal tips. I hope I'm not asking to much here

What about WoW Ascent, does anyone have any experience with that?

Do what Terrorblade, then read my post.

First of all, Ascent is dead and has been so for a long time. (Ascent died, some old devs made Open-Ascent, that died, and some old devs made Arcemu.

If you're looking for the most stable emu, your best choice would be Wcell.
They're VERY stable, but that's only because they're lacking in the feature department.

You could also choose trinitycore , which has the most features, but is pretty much in the middle, stability wise.

You can also choose MaNGOS, which is middle of the road for features but a bit more stable than TrinityCore.

Then there's Arcemu. The only thing it has going for it (In my opinion) is Lua. It's lacking with features and it's stability isn't all that great.
