    running mysql on vpsland

    well i bought a vps off vps land to run my server for a little but and apparently I can't install mysql? It says port 3306 is blocked?... can anyone help me?

    Apparently port 3306 is either in use or not open. Check your Router.

    Contact their customer support and ask why it's blocked?
    When I used VPSland in the past, I was able to install MySQL with no issues. Maybe you're on a weird server-node. If that's the case, it wouldn't be hard for VPSland support to transfer you to a better node.
