Hi, i want my m8s to help me put stuff into my serv and so on. But how should they connect to the SQL so they can put files to the server.

Use a program such as Navicat, SQLYog, Heidsql.

i know. i use Heidisql, but im logging into it with localhost, ascent and so on. How do i make an account everyone with port, name and pass can log in to?

Tools -> add user -> fill in details, put host as % for all IP's (INSECURE) or the IP of the person connecting.

Other user -> Port 3306 default, host is your external IP (or domain if you have one set up).

well ure saying its insecure, how can i make it more secure?

Only putting % is insecure (as then anyone can login without IP restrictions). Put a address in to lock it to that.

if you're making a DB account solely for the website, put in the IP of the website.

but how can my website db connect to my logon and world db then? Sorry if its weird questions i just want to know it all :P
