I restarted my server and now the realm is offline! What to do?

I restarted my server and now the realm is offline! I was applying new rates in the conf files and now it is offline and i dont know how to restart it if im not in-game :S
Im not the acctuall admin. PLEASE HELP!

If you can reach the Server from Distance.

Close Worldserver first with .server shutdown 2 0 (Trinity, dont know what it is in ManGOs )
The close the Logon / Authserver, just click the "X"
Then click MySQL_stop.bat , to close the Database.

Now just open MySQL.bat & after loading out, start Logon / Auth Server
After Logon / Auth Server is loaded, run WorldServer and your done, server Restarted =D

I can reach the server yes, in what directory does all this lie? I'm opening it through winSCP

And where do i type in .server shutdown?

its in the Mayor Folder, there youll find Server and on more map
In Server is MySQL_Stop and MySQL
In the other is Auth/Worldserver and logon Server i guess.

I cant say where its installed becuase i didnt install the whole server / repack.

Are you sure i am able to do this if im not at the actuall host computer? Because i can't find it anywhere, i connect to the databse using winSCP and i look around everywhere. All i can find is like mangos.sql etc.

I do find a file called Stop, but it is a textfile and doesnt stop anything when i press it

i meant the Server Folder, not the SQL Database.
Can you acces the computer with Teamviewer or anything like that ??

Bacuase its not in the Database but in the Server Folder. Sorry for that

If you cant reach it with this, you are not able to restart it your own, and youll need to contact the Hoster

Your Welcome.

Maybe you can talk to the Hoster, Tell him to install Teamviewer on Host PC/Laptop, so you have full acces to the Server.
If not, you always have to wait untill he's back.

I had this problem to, and solved it with TeamViewer
