How do I make an npc fire a bow without the bow disappearing?

Hi

I'm trying to get an npc to look like he is firing a bow with this emote .npc emote 435 ONESHOT_ATTACKBOW. Everytime I use this emote his bow disappears. Anyone how to fix this?

Ive tried putting the bow in .npc equip1,2 and 3, mod bytes2 is set to 4097 (ive also tried 0). The NPC im using is 68 stormwind guard.

Mhmmm.

With the emote it should be possible by changing bytes2, I use it.

If you want it to work in combat though you should go into the creature_proto table and change can_ranged to 1 and change the min/max ranged damage.
