eMux 6.2.1 - Unable to download mySQL Database (WhyDB or IFDB)

Greetings!

I've downloaded eMux 6.2.1 (the latest release from the author's website), and am running into an issue with downloading the DB - I've checked on the MacUpdate forums, and other people are having the same issue, but the listed solution (delete several .cnf files) does not seem to be working, and the author hasn't checked in for a while.

After running the listed fix, all of the files are deleted, but I am still unable to download either DB. I get "Creating Database" very briefly, and then nothing downloads. It IS creating the mysql and test folders in the directory, when I browse to the appropriate folders.

I've had MacPac on this system ages ago - would that impact anything?

Try deleting MacPac and all of its associating software, that MAY help, then post back with what you get

Done - used AppZapper to remove all old Pref. files, including mySQL, and the Preference Pane. No luck, DB still won't download.

I've tried leaving feedback for the author of eMux over on MacUpdate, but no response, and his website does not have contact info or a way to reach him. Does anyone know how to get a hold of him?

Also, what version of WoW are you running because eMux does not run on 4.X.X, and neither does WHYDB or IFDB, you COULD try downgrading to something like 3.0.5 and see how that works.

WoW itself should have nothing to do with it - this is just the arcemu and other Server related bits that are failing to install. The eMux application is not downloading one of its components properly - I haven't even gotten to the WoW client itself yet.

Well, you could try to fully reinstall eMux AND first installing Mysql because otherwise it won't work

Tried that, incl. deleting all preferences... Still no dice.
