Top private servers? (list a few please) What makes them so unique?

It's all in the title! I'm curious as to what some of the "best" private wow servers are. I'd also like to know...why are they the "best"? I've been to probably 10 different private server websites and none of them seem to list what's so great about their server beyond higher exp rates and sometimes "custom scripts".

There not great. In fact, most of the time they are a load of rubbish.

What makes them popular? Easy to find, easy to access, easy to use, lots of players online and because the in the top 100.

Seriously, you can make any server amazing over time, even if it is rubbish, just through the out-of-server advertising and stuff. Look at what they say, 99% talents work etc, is this true? Of course not, but hey, it sells.

Yeah i gotta say thats true. I did never find any server that was really like they told. I also know admins of big servers that don`t even know how to execute or write sql files...

The unique part of the top servers is they managed to cheat their way to the top of the server lists.

I can remember I once made a private server and just for this server I scripted a bot for xtremetop100 and I went to place 30 in no time...

The entire statement is kind of ironic. All of the top servers are insant 80/255 PvP. They aren't unique at all :P
Also, stoneharry brings up a valid point about the percentage of talents/spells working. Anyone who states percentages for working features is talking out of their ass. They'd have to calculate every working feature EVER and compare it to all of Blizz's features.


If you're actually looking for a unique server, try checking MMOwned's server listings, every so often, a gem pops up that has some real original content, which is what you're looking for; original content that keeps you playing for more than a few days.
