Some edited items in-game stats not changing in Ascent database

Greetings,

I have been searching and reading posts on your forum to try and find an answer, but have come up emtpy to my particular issue.

I am trying to edit a few items, the Mekgineer's Chopper and Mechano-hog and remove the level requirements and skill requirements. I have edited both entries in the items table in the Ascent section of the database, and while the Mekgineer's Chopper edit worked allowing a lvl 1 character with no skill to use it the Mechao-hog did not. It still requires the normal level and skill requirements.

Is there somewhere other than items I need to be looking for certain items, I'm a little confused why both did not work when I have edited exactly the same fields in both.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Delete your cache folder, in your WoW Directory (Default is C:\Users\Public\World of Warcraft\)
Delete the cache folder.
It won't stuff anything up. What happens is the server sends the client/player the items information, and doesn't bother to resend it again. The client knows this, so it keeps a copy of the item. If the item changes server-side, then the client is still using old data. That creates the illusion that it still requires the same level/skill level to use it.
So just delete your cache folder and run wow, login, and bingo, she should work ^_^
