Talking of me of course. I search and can't find; therefore, I ask, I'm trying to find a way to make my server status available to see via web page. I'm not sure if anyone knows how, but the only way for me to not be a leech is to learn, so spill the knowledge guys.

The best way to do this is to be a leech first off. your best bet is to find a release in here that has it on there site. look in see how they did it. best way to learn is look off someone who has and thank them with a rep.

Depends on your server type. The script will be slightly different for each emulator. Try mentioning which emulator you have and maybe you'll have a better chance of someone being able to help you.

Ah alright, Well currently I'm runnning Keazain`s repack, been doing some tweaks here and there to get the hang of it. Supported clients are Client MinBuild = "9551"
MaxBuild = "9999" The release of the core is ArcEmu TRUNK r2254/Release-Win-X86, I have release 3474 downloaded, but waiting until I understand a little more to try to update since I can't find a good explanation I'm just reading through the release and the forums to try to find a good way to import the database. I also don't know if since I'm running on 3.0.9 if I'll be able to set the trunk release to handle the client, so I don't want to screw something up, patch up to 3.3.5 then have to rehash back to .0.9 blah. I'll figure it out. Girlfriend will give me shit about being a phail nerd if I don't. >.<

Repacks are fine for beginners who want to get the hang of wow emulation, but i, and everyone on this site, suggest that you don't use them to start an actual server, and if you are not starting an actual server you don't need the server status. problem solved :P

You don't know that he is using it for a private group of friends, and the status on a simple website would be helpful.

Yeah, I'm mainly using the repack for now while some friends and myself learn how to actually run the server the right way, I'm getting everything for a 3474 core and I think for the database I'm gonna go through whydb, not sure how to compile my own database unfortunately. I have done some research before everything, I know how to get everything running online through a dyndns, how to setup the hosts file in the windows system, how to port forward, you know; basically everything that any fifteen 12 year old kid could do. I'm here, so that I don't stand out like that on my server. I'm looking to actually know how to do my own scripting and server maintenance.

lol, basically, my knowledge on it right now isn't impressive, any 12 year old could do the same thing and host they're "Uber epic fun realm" via someone else's pack, that's not what I want to do though.
