2 different cores

Hey i want to know if you can run 2 different cores at the same time.
Right now i have a TrinityCore realm. But i want to add a arcemu realm. They have there own database and files and stuff. and the right ports open for both of them but you cant connect to the arcemu realm. so my question is can you run 2 different cores at the same time?

Yes if there based on the same emulator due to the similar coding, e.g: mangos & trinity or arcemu & aspire. Ascent based and Mangos based won't connect to each other unless you rewrite one of them to have the same way as operating as the mangos one in the logonserver. I believe it was stated on the ArcEmu website how you would go about doing this and the different parts that need to be edited, but the forums are currently down.
