Looking to make some edits

Hello again

As part of my current project, im looking to make both player factions (Alliance and Horde) friendly to one another. Is this possible to do? If so, what code file has the setting I need to switch or can someone help me create a patch? Any help would be much appreciated.

No, actually it doesn't. :/ For that you will need to go into the core and either change the Horde to faction 1 as well or change the Alliance to faction 2. Or just make every zone a sanctuary, haha. Whichever you will find easiest to do.

Thats what I figured i'd have to do stoneharry. Do you happen to know which code file/line # thats on? I'd look myself, but absolutely no clue what to search for.

Hmm, I wonder if there's a patch out there for this? I can't be the only one who's wanted to do this.

I don't know how the PvP is handled but I think I remember the Horde and Alliance factions being defined somewhere...

Maybe the factionhandler or player.h? *shrug* Best bet is to look in the key files and if you can't find it ask on the ArcEmu website it's self (they don't support custom content so just ask about where the factions and PvP is handled or something for learning purposes.)
