What is the best emulator right now?

Which emulator has less bugs than the other? I'm trying to run a pserver and want the best emulator.

Your question can not be answered. It depends on the owner of the server. Many people like MaNGOS or Trinity cause they are more 'blizzlike' then the other emus. There are people who prefer ArcEMU because the LUA Engine and it's user friendly (that means you can edit nearly anything you want to).

Anyway your question is an interesting one. There are many emulators out there. Some of them are newly formed, some of them are old and well known by the public.

I found a great topic where people shares their opinions about the wow emulators. Take a look at it:

none of them are easily hackable, but anything can be hacked, for ingame security i find that arc, trinity, mangos, basically no emu has good ingame hacks so learn C++ and beef them up yourself :P

The problem is that the core is open source, so any hacker can look in the core and see how the anti-hack system works. This makes it extremely easy for them to write something that can't be detected/works.
