    Lava?

Is there a way to make lava like in Ironforge? If it is possible how would I make it kill instantly on touch, like a death barrier model editors make for games?

It's possible. But not without editing the client. Kill on touch would be managed in the client.

You can't spawn lava as seen in Ironforge.

You can however, take any other object in the game and modify a proximity teleport script, to kill instead.

I can provide you with a core edit for ArcEmu that will enable lava and allow you to define how much damage it deals (default is /5 health). To create your own lava, is not possible without model editing as previously said. You can make invisible npc's that get nearby players and kill them etc though. If your looking to restrict access to only a certain zone, you can write a script to stop anyone entering any other zones etc.

It'd be nice if you'd ask me before you hand out my core edits, bah nevermind, although I gave it to you
Why do I need a signature?

Well I just wanted to add lava so if you fall off the bridge you die . I could also use it as a death barrier when creating table events that go on for a long while.

TO all mods: I'm sorry I forgot to put tags I realized it when I posted the thread but didn't know how to add one without deleting my thread.
