Argent Tournament Script

Sorry if this has been covered, i did search and got nothing for it.

Almost all of my daily quest in argent tournament work just fine, but as far as actually participating in argent tournament, i cant start because i cannot do the mastery quest. When starting mastery of melee, shield-breaking etc, you are supposed to get a lance from the quest giving npc and be able to mount the quel dorei steed outside the tent (not sure about horde side yet). but the npc does not give me the lance, and i cannot mount the steed, i even gave myself the alliance lance hoping it would let me continue but nothing. Can someone give me a script to cover all this? Even when i talk with joren longwood (i believe thats his name) all he says is well met $n, he doesnt have any more of the quest text. I do get the quest complete on talking to him as far as that part of the quest, but i cant finish the second part, mounting and doing melee, same goes for the other parts (shield-breaking, charging)
