    Executing queries is taking days.

I am trying to get a new server set up after I have been using repacks for quite a while, as when I tried to execute the actual world database stuff it takes a large amount of time to complete. I have let it run for nearly a day now, and it still is at 5MB/216MB. Is this normal? Do I have to just leave it running even longer? I am still a newbie with the actual coding of servers and whatnot, but I want to learn. Thanks in advance.

What kind of PC are you running? It could be that you have an extremely old PC that can't handle the load. For example, on my recently built machine, I execute a world DB in less than a minute sometimes. So this could very well be a hardware issue.

As for the memory issue, you do have the obligatory .NET Framework 3.5 (or is it 4?) installed correct?

If your running Vista/Win 7, it never hurts to try enabling Run In Administrator mode or an older compatibility mode.

Also, i've never personally ran HeidiSQL. I have always stuck MySQL or Navicat. Possibly try switching the program if you can.
