What is the Latest Emulators to date?

Hello,

Iv been out of the emulator game for at least a 1 year or 2 and i was wondering before i get back into scripting, what is the latest emulators to date.

I still see ArcEmu and Mangos still going strong but out of the 2 what one is dominating(being used) more in everyday private servers.

What im trying to say is, what emulator should i script for that has the bigger popularity and will not become redundant and turn into a waste of my time.

All my current scripts are under ArcEmu's old c++ format and will need to be rewritten for Mangos.

Basically, the conclusion most flame wars come to is:

Mangos/Trinity: Blizzlike
ArcEmu: Heavy custom work

If you need ICC working, Trinity or Mangos. ArcEmu doesn't support the destructible Game Objects yet. If you want custom items & you plan on making a very custom funserver, using Arc will save you lots of headaches...

Just FYI; I develop a custom realm under Trinity. It's possible, but requires more work, mainly because Trinity loads a lot of things from DBCs. For me, the benefits it offered over Ascent-based cores far outweighed the amount of extra work I had to do.

How big of a change is the Trinity code from arcemu's code? Will it be an easy convert? I have a large amount of scripts.
