I would love some help with custom Extended Costs.

Hi everyone, I seem to be having some problems with trying to get custom extended costs to work. I followed this guide to the letter, and nothing at all changed. I originally wanted my custom token (ID of 60001) to be used to purchase an item (Deadly Gladiator's Shanker 42242) for 3 Small Tokens (60001) out of my custom vendor. When that didn't work, I tried doing it out of an existing vendor, and when THAT didn't work, I tried using an item in the game.

Oh by the way, I'm not sure if it has any effect, but I changed the extended cost ID of 100 (= 1 glowcap) to my Token's ID and a quantity of 3, still no luck. Any ideas?

Im not 100% sure about this, but did you do your TOKEN from the scratch or edited one in the DB? Couse what i know when you do items from scratch with new patch 3.3.3 you cant do like new items couse they are very bugged.

That's DBC editing anyway...

The extended cost ID relates to a certain item and amount, this CAN NOT be changed without DBC editing which requires your players to download a custom patch. What you will need to do is find a extended cost ID which requires a certain amount of items, and then change the actual item to what you want. Aka, delete the item Glowcap and then insert what you want it to cost with the same ID as what glowcap was. Note that this will require you to delete your cache folder after changing in your WoW directory.
