For some reason the server..and the website works for me

but whenever my friend tries to log on it says that he needs a blizzard.net account to login..

any advice?

He haven't changed his realmlist.

Make sure its in the correct format

set realmlist <yourserveriphere>

If he has that. make sure he's starting wow with wow.exe NOT launcher.exe!

And if that doesn't work let him delete his cache and WTF folders.
