[Cataclysm] Friends & Family Alpha Client?

You can only get the client if someone that has a alpha license from a blizzard employee. Then if that person would upload the downloader, which I highly doubt. We can always hope though...

I heard they were only submitting it by CD this year and there is no digital download.. due to the quick leak last year

Honestly it will be uploaded even if it is on only a cd or a downloader. The question is if the friend/ family member will take the risk, like one did with wotlk.

With the WotLK alpha, we downloaded it directly from Blizzard after working out the address of the downloader, no risk at anyone...

However, I assume the downloader is accessed through Battle.net this time?

It is working the same way as Starcraft II one did. I very much doubt it will be leaked till the media beta starts.
