[Generic] Best 2.4.3 Emu?

This isn't so much a request as it is a question, but I was wondering what the best 2.4.3 emu was. Just trying to gain some general knowlage, I had an Arcemu 1545 server set up but maps were really screwed up, pretty sure it was my fault lmao.

I'd recommend Trinity Core, it was still actively developed after wotlk (infact they just barely stopped developing a few months ago)

It's the best 2.4.3 emu I've used

downloaded and compiled the link you gave me (thanks) but was looking for a good db and was wondering if you could help me out also when ever i changed the file extentions in windows from dist to conf it gets all bunched up and []d. lol, thanks again man, any help would be great

I'd go with Trinity Core or MaNGOS (TC is based on mangos so its kind of the same).

If you use mangos its really annoying to set up a 2.4.3 server though...you need to checkout their mangos-0.12 branch, get scriptdev2 and apply their 2.4.3 patch and add your own fixes (I had to change like 15 files to get it to work) and use udb tbcdb which is for a very old version of mangos 2.4.3

I don't remember the old TrinityDB svn, but you could try the DB for Oregon project

I'd have to go with TrinityCore I tried mangos and it isn't really easy to setup, considering you have to do the scriptdev2 part yourself, with trinity it's all in the core, I'll try to find a link for it later, active development for 2.4.3 just stopped a month or so ago I think, I'm running 3.3.3a myself at the moment. Couple bugs here and there but they aren't major by any means.
