Yeah I just got the warning for it. Forgot about that.
Anyhow, I figure I may as well post this in here rather than start a new post even though it's a bit off topic:
I'm trying to get vmaps working. Here's the situation. I have WoW 3.3.2 on my computer and the compiled server on a virtual server; the virtual not having WoW installed on it of course.
Here's what Arcemu's guide says:
Code:
Files required in your WoW directory: Create/Move the following files in your wow directory.
* buildings - Directory
* maps - Directory
* vmaps - Directory
* vmapextract_v2.exe - Executable
* vmap_assembler.exe - Executable
1. Copy vmap_assembler.exe from assembler/Debug to your WoW directory. Repeat this for extractor/bin/Win32/DebugAS/vmapextract_v2.exe.
2. Run vmapextract_v2.exe - this will take a long time (1 to 2 hours).
3. Create the directory vmaps inside your WoW directory. If you don't make this directory, the assembler tool will fail.
4. After this is done, run vmap_assembler.exe. While this is running, continue with the next section.
I am confused by the second part of step 1 (Repeat this for extractor/bin/Win32/DebugAS/vmapextract_v2.exe.) seeing as I have no such path. It seems like its written for someone with more experience than I. Can someone translate this for me into terms more understandable for my situation? I've scoured mmowned and even google for a vmaps tutorial and have come up empty handed. I appreciate any help. This also seems to be the issue that's affecting my instances.
Thanks
