[ArcEmu] No vendors will work on my private server and there are no items.

I just made a private server, and for some reason, none of the vendors will work. Also, there are NO items in the game except gold. So, of course, when I make a character they appear nude because there is no armor. Whenever I go to buy something at the vendors, I click on them and nothing happens. So I think there's something wrong with the items. So does anyone know what to do? I've tried everything and can't seem to get it working. Thanks.

Nope, the table has items in it. A whole crap load of items. But I've tried adding those items to my character via .char additem (#id) and it just says it's not a valid ID number.

I'm thinking about doing that. The only thing I didn't follow in the tutorial was the part about the ad.exe and the map folder where what I did was copy the map folder from another server type (Johved) to my current one (Infinium). Both are for patch 3.3.2 and both use ArcEmu so I figured that it shouldn't be a problem. Would it? I really hope not cause I really don't want to wait 4 hours for that again, but I will do it if there's no other way.

Are you sure you have set your database information right? I.E, your database name is the same as you have said in your configs?

Characters and items are probably in the same database. He had creatures, thus the database is correct.

Kiev may be a little right. I downloaded another Acehmu server and compared the database to the item glitch one. The new one, the database for items is just listed as "items" and the old one the items are listed in "items_original." There is also a "items" list like in the new one, but it only has 20 items in it, and they are all tier 11 armor. I'm starting to think that may be the problem. I'll combine them and see, but I'm not sure.

That's your problem right there Server searches for "items" finds "items" which just has 20 items while "items_original" is ignored completely. Delete the one with just 20 items and rename "items_original" to just "items" and it should be fixed Good luck!

This could have happened as its quite possible the repack maker only wanted to have a set tier in there, and for you to execute the other items in manually. Not the smartest thing to do but glad we've found the problem!

Yup, that was the problem. I didn't think about the rename thing, but I was able to fix it. So yeah, it works perfectly now!
