As of WoW client v3.3.3, there is only a single WTF file - they took out the realmslist and all the rest, it is only a config.wtf now.
This file looks like:
Code:
SET readTOS "1"
SET readEULA "1"
SET readScanning "-1"
SET readContest "-1"
SET readTerminationWithoutNotice "-1"
SET installType "Retail"
SET locale "enUS"
SET expansionMovie "0"
SET movie "0"
SET showToolsUI "0"
SET realmList "us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com"
SET patchlist "us.version.worldofwarcraft.com"
SET hwDetect "0"
SET gxRefresh "60"
SET gxMultisampleQuality "0.000000"
SET gxFixLag "0"
SET videoOptionsVersion "3"
SET Gamma "1.100000"
SET Sound_OutputDriverName "System Default"
SET Sound_MusicVolume "0.40000000596046"
SET Sound_AmbienceVolume "0.60000002384186"
SET farclip "777.000000"
SET specular "1"
SET groundEffectDensity "24"
SET projectedTextures "1"
SET mouseSpeed "1.3999999761581"
SET accounttype "RT"
SET realmName "Thorium Brotherhood"
Now, I have tried, a dozen times, to edit the realmslist line, but every time I start the client (using wow.exe, NOT the launcher), it reverts back to the defaults.
Without reverting to stale, old client v1.xx.x, is there any way to fix this so I can log into an emu (local, lan or inet)?
Sorry for such a n00b question, but I have been searching 6 different forums for the last 3 days to solve this
