[Dedicated Server Setup] How do I setup a dedicated wow server?

hope to hear from you soon, i need to know what software/addons to install on the home server to make it act as a webserver and then how to get the web server and act in the same manner it does now, i assume copying the files would be what is needed, but start from beginning, how do i make the home server act as a webserver? i was thinkin apache, but wasnt sure.

My apologies. I haven't been able to download AIM, do you know if it is possible to talk cross platform with AIM and MSN? If so ill happily assist you right now. I'd suggest getting WAMP or XXAMP.

No you cannot talk from MSN to AIM, but if you create an AIM account, you don't have to download AIM, you could use Meebo - Connecting AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook, MySpace messengers and talk off there without downloading it.

i have an MSN acct that i can use, i just dont use MSN as i have a mac... so ill use meebo and addy you if you could PM your IM info... ill send you a buddy request on IM's

now as far as the software and how to set it up. im completely lost... i kinda understand what your saying as far as the login. example.com and stuff like that but my goal is to have (like other private servers) is to let the players type a web address into the realm list instead of an ip. like run the wow server on wow. example.com and the website on "www.example.com". players would register and login to the website and with the same exact login they would be able to connect to "wow.example.com" on their realmlist.wtf and instantly connect to the partition/subdomain on my server dedicated to the wow private server portion of the server...

Just configure your domain forwarding for the sub-domain wow.example.com to point to your server's public ip address.
