[Client] Downgrading

Hello everyone,
I wanted to have a wow version to 3.2 (which i allready have) and another wow version to 2.4.3 to play wow pre-tbc private server... I tried the downgrade but it only takes to patch 3.0.1... I allready tried to copy and paste on another directory but nothing... Anyway how can i ree-install another copy if when i put the CD in it says only "Play World of Warcraft" and not "Install world of warcraft"????

Rename your current world of warcraft folder to 3.2 or what ever patch you have and then the CD's won't recognise that wow is already installed and it will install it again.

Ok ty and one last thing... Where can i patch up to 2.4.3? Will the launcher automaticly patch to 3.2 right? And on wowwiki there are only till 3.0.1

If you have the BC disks you can install it from there else i'm not sure about the launcher so you will need to find a old patch mirror.

A thing to remember - Make sure to run your NEW Wow before doing the patch, as each time you run it, it sets in the registry your WoW location, and you dont want to be getting a error saying "Patch is already at 3.x"
