    [SQL] Mass Replace values? (ArcEmu)

    ok so lets say that i Messed up on a command value for my SQL database. In the "GM" slot (i have a GM Server) I put "User" anyway, "User" allows people to ".kill" others even when it is not in the database "Command_Overrides"
    database.

    Anyway, i need to find a level that I can work with and also, a mass replace command in SQL so i can change all of the levels of "User" to the new one. I would like to keep the admin account states for the admins if you can plz

    EDIT: I got 4,000 accounts made lol. I CANNOT do it manually without taking all day.

    UPDATE `accounts` SET `permissions` = "New" WHERE (`permissions`="User");

    Work from the above SQL query.

    Slight nitpicking, but the correct term is 'query', not 'code'

    If I were you I'd take the w3schools SQL crash course. It's simple and covers the basic query types every administrator should know.

    Haha hmm, look into the table, and see if the values are there, then under "accounts" set them the right gm, then restart logon too.

    For GM permission changes to take effect, all players have to be offline when you change it and then to reload the logonserver table (or just restart) and to restart world also. :3 It's the same whenever you edit the character table or parts of the account table (apart from you don't need to restart the worldserver normally, just permissions needs that.)
