[CentOS] Howto: MaNGOS

I have a dedicated server:
• AMD 2000+
• 512 MB DDR RAM
• 40 GB Hard Drive
• 2000 GB Traffic
• 100Mbps Connection
• CentOS

I use NX on my windows desktop and FreeNX on the dedicated host to use a remote desktop connection. Meaning I can control everything from my home desktop besides any hardware things of course. I copy my repack from my windows to my host. Now, I have the repack on the dedi server but when I try to run it, it will not let me is there a package I need to install to be able to run it ?(I try to run it by double clicking, im not aware of the terminal commands) I can't start up any of the .exe including mysql, world etc.
I've tried downloading the repack through firefox on my dedicated server but it still dosn't run after downloading.

Any input is welcome and helpful.

install mysql

btw compile your own server instead of using someone's repack.
Theres enough guides around here that explain perfectly how to do it.

Btw, if you can, switch to Debian. For some reason, CentOS has been a pain with yum updater. Yum always crashes, and Debian is more stable imho.

And about the EXEs: Unless you have Wine (WINdows Emulator), you will not be able to run EXEs on a *nix box as they natively do not support them.
