Hey, maybe this thread could end up helping alot more people then just me! See if you can be as helpful and make it into an almost-guide if you could!

im sure theres alot of people out there like me, who want to make a custom WoW server. My goal is to make a server for 5-10 people, mainly me, my girlfriend, and my family, to all just group up and mini raid on and have a blast with!

Im not a programming genius, but it seems like it would be fun, even if i screwed it up repeatedly, to try! lmao, anyways. Im an old school WoW raider, before TBC, i loved that stuff. since theres no classic repacks, my questions are:

1. I want to use oldschool raid zones like MC and BWL, but i want to edit the mobs loot, and their base hp/damage, to make then from 40 man, down to say 5 man, what should I use? My friend said mangos, and everywhere i read here says you cannot customize on mangos, what should i use?

2. I would probably have to end up using a 2.4.3 server, are there repacks that are stable for editing with this out here?

3. What is every prgram needed to get this server up and running, and edited?

4. I also want to make custom loot, my own gear, not following the regular wow tiers

thank you in advance! any other tips would be greatly appreciated for a starter. I know theres lots of guides for getting servers up, but at the end of every one of them theres posts saying it sold, don't bump, ect, us noobs need to know exactly what to do! whats up to date!

If you're just looking for an older repack, I had a very good BC repack for a while. I think it was 2.3.3. I can't remember if I found it here though. I'll look around and see if I can find it for you.

Edit: Found it. it was reaper-x's 2.3.3 repack. I don't remember the exact link but if you google "reaper-x 2.3.3" i'm sure it'll pop up

For editing bosses hp you don't need to customize mangos, just database.
