What Server To Buy - Help.

Hey, so a few questions to ask about setting up a server etc.

I have an entire team ready etc, but we need to know what specs we will need etc. Expect around 200 people within the first month or so, so i know itll need 100mbits connection.

Could you experienced emulators hosts etc help me out ?

• What server specs would I be looking for?
• Any cheap and good dedicated server hosts in the UK if possible?
• Would VPS be able to do the job?

www.softlayer.com is pretty reliable and have many options, WoW Pwnage is hosted easily on there with 200+ players on 24/7.

If your price range is a little lower, try a VPS site for a month, if not, upgrade. ^^

So whats the diff between VPS and dedis ? As well as would it be able to host the WoW Server and/or the possibilites of other games such as left 4 dead etc.

Also spec wise- whats required ?
