I'm Being Stalked in Game. I Would like to Mask my Location!

Ok, so here's the deal. I'm being stalked in game by someone who has multiple bots, accounts, as well as alliance and horde characters on the same server. I'm pretty convinced he's added me onto his friend's list on one or more of his alliance toons, and he uses them to find out what zone and what subzone I am currently in. He then proceeds to gank my character mercilessly when I am not in a safe area.

The only way it could be worse is if I wasn't a druid, and not able to fly away immediately after a rez. In that case, he has been using invisibility potions, and other things that you would find in a L2GANK article, and would truly camp me.

I am mostly PvE. He tears me apart, as he comes prepared, as well as fully decked out in PvP gear. Even in my semblence of a PvP set, I only get one or two attacks off.

When he's not able to kill me on his horde because I am in a safe area, he uses alliance toons to follow me everywhere I go. He creates new toons specifically for that purpose, so he can keep tabs on me. This is a situation where that idea of being able to keep your whereabouts private that has been tossed around would be useful.

Alas, Blizzard has not implemented it. Complaining wouldn't do much good: He has multiple accounts, probably three or four, and he would simply create a new account, and/or stalk me with the accounts that are left, assuming he was even banned. I fear that the stalking would reach a new level if I even tried to have him confronted by Blizzard though.

Is there any way that I can mask my location? My idea was for my location information in /who, and /friends and whatnot to always be Dalaran, regardless of my true location. If this means editing WoW data files, I would like to make a copy of the original, and be able to switch between the two files depending on the level of stalking that has been recently occurring.

Unfortunately, I figure that he is way more experienced in exploiting and hacking WoW than I am, and I fear that masking my location information would only be a minor deterrence to him. He could probably find a way around it. There is the possibility that he would have no idea how to get around it though, even if it's only a slight chance.

I have made many ties to my guildies and whatnot on this server: I've known them for years now! I do not want to have to change servers because of one douchebag. However, he would probably armory me, and proceed to create a new character on that server, or transfer one of his many characters to tail me.

EDIT: I see that this is in the emulator forum. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section, and if I have, please move this thread or delete it. I was just using the search function, with phrases like "Mask location", "Change displayed location, and "Hiding location information", and since no solution was garnered, I noticed the subforum "Requests", and I thought that it was for general request kinds of things. Ugh. I'm sorry.

Wow, I've honestly never heard of being stalked that hard in WoW, I've done my share of camping. But I never went that extreme with it, I'm sorry this is happening to you. However, I don't believe there is any way to make it so you are in Dalaran on the /who list. Editing Data Files is against the ToS I believe so that's most likely out of the question.

Get a bodyguard :Þ or you could just gear up as pvp, prefer DK as they are OP, or retri pala, just start ganking and stalking him, he should quit.

Report to a gamemaster - They will look into it and give them a warning ban, then a permanent ban if they keep doing it. Just report it every time and eventually he will be ban on all his accounts. Blizzard care about there players believe it or not.

If thats a troll, thats one hell of a post for a troll, did you even read it Blink or overaggro? Blink, if you had read it, he mentioned the fact off how he is attached to the people on the server from being there for a long time. So he dont want to have to do that due to just one person not letting him be.

But all you can do is report him like Stoneharry said, they will look into it, and you have no need to worry about it going further, there is no way that he will be able to find out any furthing information. So dont worry

Thank you for your responses guys. I guess I'll just report him when I can. I believe that he uses special characters in most of his characters' names though, so I don't know if that will make reporting him more difficult. It might be as simple as adding someone to your friends list, where you only have to target the person. I've never reported someone for anything, or have even considered doing it before though.

I also suppose that countering a violation of the WoW Code of Conduct with a violation of the WoW Terms of Service was not the best of ideas anyways, unfortunately.

I don't believe I'm a troll, though I don't know-It could be like insanity. Most people who are truly insane do not believe that they are insane! I'm just desperate, really.
