problems with own compiled server and world.exe

when i start up world server it says unterminated comment in optional config
and then when i remove the text from optional config it loads to realms config then doesnt load any further
any help?

Your configuration file has some kind of error. Make sure all the elements are closed properly. If you have further issues, just go into the arcemu SVN and copy their config then simply edit it to your preferences.

I'm afraid ArcEmu have broken it completly,
You need to remove every single comment, with the right amount of lines, and it will stop giving the error.
If unsure download mine (works fine) and edit it to your details:
optional.conf

With the realm part, this is normal and shows that the server has loaded properly, nothing will usually come after this unless a GM does something that will show in the console, so dont worry about that.

While at that, do what the others instructed and your set.
