I really need help back to basics????

ok so I had a server about a year ago & had a hard time setting it up & things have surely changed on setting up a server

so I have a new computer now & I'm not remember how to set this up & all the guides I'm finding arent starting from basics

I seen I need phpmyadmin PHP5 apache & mysql dnydns account can some one give me a link to set up a server & webpage off these programs

last time all I use was mysql, phpmyadmin & a dnydns account

I need a link to compatible programs

Instead of trying to do it all at once, I find it helps if you take it one step at a time.

Server:
You need to get a emulater, sort out the maps and DBC's etc. (see emulater server guides)
Database:
You need to get a database (see emulater server guides)
SQL Server:
Right, we need a SQL server for that database
apache friends - xampp
Alright.. What about a website?
Came with the SQL server (apache)
So how do I get a domain?
Google.
Anything else I need?
Ask.

ok I downloaded xampp how do I use it to install sql & everything????

ok so I have my dbc & maps how do i use mysql to execute these files to it how the hell do I set this up???

There is no real guide to be honest...
People just copy + paste with a few new pictures again and again the same thing.
You need to install it (assuming you have done so) start mysql (should be self explanitory) and then get sqlyog, navicat or something (I use sqlyog). Open a new connection:
host: localhost
user: root
pass: (there is no password)
port: 3306
database(s): (leave blank)
Now right click, create new database, then once you have got a database (there are guides for this in emu section etc) and you have imported it, you can see all the data in your sql server.
If you got any further questions do ask, I'm not going into much detail.

ok i have mysql working~~ sqlyog is what I need & couldnt find I'll post again when I need help
