Webhosting Requirements (SSH access & BG processes)

Hi! I wish to purchase web hosting which i can run:

1x Ventrilo Server
1x Arcemu WOW Server
1x Forum
1x Website

and maybe a some extra space for a few extra servers, i.e runescape or teamspeak or something.

My question is, what would i require to run all this? I know i need SSH (shell) access and background processes allowed, is there anything else i need? Also, do you know of anywhere this is allowed, without me having to buy my own 'dedicated server' which costs a bomb! How cheaply could i do this and do you reccommend any hosts? Thanks in advance!

Either way this wont be cheap.
Forum + Website you can get half-decent hosting for free with FTP access and SQL database, but a domain will cost ~$10. If you want a really good forum (don't really) then thats going to cost you loads.
ArcEmu WoW server hosting will cost a lot depending on how much you want to host. Not sure on any exact prices.

OK well thanks anyway. I really just wanted to see what requirements i would need for a arcemu server. I think i need, sql databases, background processes allowed and SSH access. Anything else?

Why dont you host from home?

when having more people on your server.
You need better hardware and a better Internet connection.

A Host, can provide you a good internet connection and good hardware.

So that's why he don't host from a home.

+ Maybe he's got 1 PC. So he wanna play World of Warcraft but çan't because the server that is running is on his PC.
