    World Building Questions & Suggestions (The Emu Side)

    Hi, I am new some of you will probably call me n00b but this is not me I need more experience here and help to improve but I have some brilliant ideas based around world/game editing. Secondly I have posted this also in world building model editing focusing on the model editing side this will hopefully focus on the emu side of things, scripts etc, I will post my stuff on this soon just working out a few bugs at the moment.

    I don't just want to edit the world I'd like to modify the game extensively. I can currently re-compile mangos, map edit, model edit and quest edit and am working on some cool area features like scriptable mob levelling (mob's that level) and mob extinction by modifying existing mangos scripts.

    I'd like a few pro's that I can bounce idea's and script etc off of for my project focused on making WoW a truely feature rich game. Here are a list of features I would like to implement (btw I'm also working on rendering WoW game assets in XNA because I see the client as a possible restriction to development)

    "Ideal" Changes (I recognise I may never finish the project so plz no flames)
    -dynamic factions (i.e being an alliance horde agent or defias agent)
    -smaller worlds (such servers would require a lower population)
    -a complete re-map
    -dynamic political map system i.e trolls leaving and loosing favour of horde if -not contributing in battlegrounds etc
    -new playable races
    -unlockable playable races (furbogs, legion, animals etc... obviously some -races would be limited to their class and level limit)
    -new classes
    -dynamic classes opting for class coherence rather than divergence
    more characters
    -levelling mob's
    -extinction of mob's in localised area's
    -removal of certain class restrictions
    -removal of limit of skills but introduction of an alternative total skill pool
    -removal of charging for removal of talents
    -greater range of mob tactics
    -smarter pet levelling systems (pets can turn on owners if you use them too much, demons can also turn on summoners etc)

    If anyone would like further information also PM me, please don't flame and I hope this wont feed any trolls I need outside help on this as obviously its a massive project but not impossible if we can rally together enough people

    it's also worth a note that this is not just an emu server but eventually a compatible client will need to be constructed (for updates like race expansion), I'm hoping noggit will release latest sources for help with rendering game content although I am working on my own XNA rendering solution sorry linux guys unless noggit ports to linux and releases source.

    also any relevant source materials to help with some of the features such as a political system are welcome.

    UPDATE abandoned XNA and just got WOWModelviewer for client emu, I'm sure C++ will be easier to add to for this i'm looking to work with MaNGOS server source to implement Client Server Behaviour so scripts etc on hold atm
