only states while attempting to go live; using self compiled heartstone r1666 with RDB r46. Logonserver and world boot up as can be expected. AV is off during all of this.
configs;
World: pastebin - collaborative debugging tool
Logonserver: pastebin - collaborative debugging tool
Realms: pastebin - collaborative debugging tool
hosts: pastebin - collaborative debugging tool
a few notes: when all configs and files are setup for localhost play style - there is no problem logging in and doing what needs to be done.
ports opened are: 8093 3036 3306 6112 6851 8050 8129 3727 all tcp
very few times have I had problems getting live. but a few key notes i've seen
dyndns & no-ip no longer allow free users to use wildcard. you have to pay now.
And anyone trying to connect in from elsewhere just receive unable to connect message rather than the Login server down.
-- solutions ive tried:
2nd realm for possible looping.
parentheses in the hosts file and variation of localhost after 127.0.0.1
attempted realms difference via the ext ip vs dyndns
attempted direct ip changes rather than via dyndns [including realmlist]
using this as my realmlist
Code:
set realmlist fallencore.servegame.org
set patchlist fallencore.servegame.org
set realmlistbn ""
set portal us
nothing seems to be working. either it goes to login server down - or unable to connect as if it wasn't even online.
hmm seems to be related to ports not forwarding correctly .. god i hate netopia. ill test it out later after some breakfast.
-update
portforwards checker is showing 3306 being used by another server.
whilst web based port checker are showing every other port closed except for 3306 .. i know for fact they are forwarded; cant **** it up
interal port: same
in: same
out: same
internal ip: 192.168etc
name:w/e i want
i dont see why these programs are showing these bs issues. never had something like this occur in the past 2 years
