Before when i was running my server it was fine but unstalled mysql an got the newer version now when i run my ARCEMU world.exe an logon.exe i get this from both


connection failed due to: can't connect to mysql server on 127.0.0.1 <10061>

then on the there other one it

connection failed due to: can't connect to mysql server on 127.0.0.1 <10061>

You can learn alot from just reading the error report.. The world.exe cannot connect to your MYSQL database. So ask yourself the following:

1) Is MYSQL even running?
2) Are your credentials absolutely correct?
3) Can you connect to MYSQL via other programs?

yes i have mysql install i have the 5.4 beta install keep sayin i dont have main data base install i unstall everything that had to do with mysql on my labtop

does it have to do with my not having i had Visual Studio 2008 i took it of an Tortoise svn

It is not mandatory to have VS 2008 to run a server, however it is when compiling one.

I'ma try an make a program that can start mysql for repack. repack need to come with the user control panel its starts thing ups an get mysql running.

i got it now i need to re make this program in my own sitting for these repacks an ect.. i just need some research an a little help
