    [Question] Does the router have to be connected to my computer?

    This has been bugging me and i cant figure it out. Ive been trying to port forward but i keep getting all kinds of errors.

    I connect wirelessly through an adapter to the router that is upstairs. Can i make my server public without having the router connected to my own computer?
