Can anyone give me a rundown on trinity?

Hi, I wonder if someone could give me a rundown on Trinity/Mangos. I've used Mangos only once and that was a long long time ago just to test a few things, since then I have used Ascent/Arcemu

I want to set up a blizzlike server for myself for 3.1.3, but don't want to use arcemu as it's not updated.

If anyone can spare some time, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Trinity is a fork of MaNGOS so setting it up is pretty similar to setting up MaNGOS.
Trinity has few projects, TrinityZero(1.12.1), TrinityCore(2.4.3) and TrinityCore2(3.1.3)
With Trinity, you don´t need to download scriptdev2 or some script project because they include the scripts with the core.
If you want a good blizzlike database for TrinityCore, take a look at UDB

Don't use repacks... You do not learn anything from them, you have no idea what the persons added inside them or anything. Follow guides from webpages like Trinity, MaNGOS or UDB etc.
