Im trying to set up a hearthstone server but keep having problem after problem. I have already compiled ive set up rivalDB but every time i run world.exe it sais im missing DBC files, in which i have already extracted...so i dont really know what im missing,ive set up multiple servers in the past but was grounded for a while and dont really remember how to do much, but i'd really appreciate it if someone could help me finally get this setup...an msn would be nice.

Fixed DBC problem had to change folder name XD...but seems like it has serious issues once it gets past the DBC parts like columns missing and shit...so....ya

I was working on converting the database to hearthstone and it gets errors while converting so ...more help needed >.< Ya when i run world.exe it gives like improper format stuff in Yellow Text

Alright ive fixed all that other shit now , im up to where im trying to logon and it just sits at connected....how do i fix ?

If you can login and play relative normal, you can ignore the yellow spells and such

lol no its really messed world.exe just ends up closing...i'm pretty sure i need to convert that database but when i do that i get errors

At this point i got world.exe and logon.exe going...but when i try to logon a little box pops up that just doesnt say anything...dont know what to do after that


...kk i fixed that now when i logon i get stuck at connected and it just sits there...

You've probably messed up your ports. Try seeing your realm config, logon config and router-stuff. Oh, and did you unblock the world and logonserver ports?

Getting stuck on connected is a version mismatch.

For example, the server is set for 3.1.3 and you connect with a 3.0.9 client - you get stuck.

Make sure you launch the appropriate client.

ah i c well i dont wanna patch up to latest if it doesnt work...is that my only option ?

Tell me your game version

If you're at 3.0.9 currently and use hearthstone, it's most likely made for 3.1.x... So copy your wow folder to a partition and then patch one of them and hopefully it'll work

ya right now im having troubles patching its all ****ed up and keeps aborting but hope it works =)
