Npc Names?

Is there any way to change npc names? like .npc name "insert name here" ?

You can edit it manually through a sql manager such as navicat and heidisql. Open creature_names, change the name on the Name row and then delete your wow cache located in the world of warcraft directory. This cache stores temporary data and will not do any harm to wow.

If you don't delete it, the name will stay the same for you and all of the others who've seen him even though you changed it in the database.
