Mangos Npc Question

Does anyone know the command (using mangos) to make a npc wield a weapon?
I have tried using the equip_id with Quice, but that isn't working....

any help would be greatful...

Just for your info: The 'equipment_id' field links to an entry in the creature_equip_template table, not an item ID.
