    Stats and exp 100+

    Good time of the day everyone!

    Well I want to make fullworking characters after 80 lvl.

    I've modified player_classlevelstats.sql (for paladin class for now), player_levelstats.sql (for human race) and player_xp_for_level.sql

    I'm using MaNGOS 7804, YTDB_098_R480_rev7528.sql+updates. My OS is WinXP 32 SP2
    But dew to lack of knowlidge I'm stuck and I've got 2 questions

    Question #1

    How can I get HP/SP gaining after 100 level? I've changed player_classlevelstats up to lvl 255. And changed basehp basemana from tinyint to int(10). But it is capped on lvl 100 and after it I only gain stats, talents and 0 hp.

    Question #2

    What are the possible ways of leveling after lvl 100 cos there are no mobs of this level? It will be really boring to lvl only by quests. Maybe I can do some core editing to get exp from mobs of 80 level, but I'm not very good with C++, so could anyone point me in the right direction.

    Max lvl cap is set to 100 to avoid client problems.

    From mangos forum:
    It's limited to 100 in mangos to avoid some client problems. The client doesn't have data for dodge/etc growing after level 100, and has spell data that generates wrong damage from spells casted by players above level 100. Also in some cases less client stability.
    Mangos doesn't support levels > 100. This means: we don't want lost time for answering why something doesn't work for some characters. If you use those levels then this is your personal problem.

    We use MaNGOS, our level cap is 255. It's fairly tough to build all the content to accomodate those higher levels, and we're talking about thousands of items, hundreds of mobs, several quest lines, various custom instances, massive amounts of mob scripts for them to cast spells and such, and careful planning of it all.

    You don't want to go 100+ unless you're really serious about making a server (dedicated hosting, not just a friends' playground). There are known issues e.g. druid class players crashing upon opening character panel and selecting Base_stats, which has to be fixed individually by every player, and dodge that goes post 700%, melee classes gaining 0.00 attack speed at particular level ranges etc.

    Thank you for you information Lonehwolf. Yes I understand it is not easy to fix everything if you are going against game limitations. I know it is no comparison with MaNGOS but a year ago I had RO server on eAthena and did some core editing and other staff for my friends playground
    (I'm not saying this cos I'm cool only showing that I'm not afraid of editing. )

    So I need an advise of a specialist. I'm not asking you to share your hard work with me. Maybe you could just point me in the right direction about most critical fixes. I don't wan't to flood in this forum. So if you have time maybe you could PM me with your MSN or ICQ. Again it's only because I can't PM you (and I don't want to do useless post to gain the PM ability). If I'm asking too much well sorry.
