says the site is down even though the server works!

Hi guys, I'm trying to run a Arcemu Server everything is working correctly, But i'm having one huge issue. My site isnt working, Apache is working but the site isnt, It's saying that its offline, and cant connect to database.



Please help me. The server works and everything, And if you need the configuration.php file just ask.

Oh and I the server is working perfectly, i can connect to it too.

Well it is most likely that you have it set to say that or it is a corrupt version of Joomla! so i suggest you either check your "Global Configuration" in the admin panel or download the newest Joomla! and start over.

Oh, i see now! The problem I think im having is that im entering the wrong Password or username or hostname or database name on it. Because i tried another web thingy and instead, it said that the access was denied from it because password I think thats why. SOo... anyone got suggestions?

Yes, go into the configuration file and change the username and password to what its supposed to be.

Ya but one problem I dont Exacly know it. But I checked one of the files that acces the SQL database and it showed this

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "ascent" Name = "world" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "ascent" Name = "characters" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

And i got that from the World Configuration file.

And the site had all the info the database host name was localhost. Username was root. Password was ascent

And still dont work =/

Alright i quit my stupid server now lol, cause its not working =/ if only the dang site was working!
