Lua question

i am kind new to all this, and my question may sound stupid, but anyway
if i have a script i want to use, do i have to recompile my core? or do i have an option for it to run on server side like an addon? (most of client addons writen with Lua)
and if i can where do i put and enable this script?

Go into your scripts folder, in there anything that is .lua will be loaded if you have a Lua engine.
To enable Lua if you havn't already, go into arcemu-world.config and scroll down till you find "Lua backends" or something, basically set it to 1. Read it if you unsure.
Only with C++ you need to compile it into a dll with the core.
