What are good server specs?
How much RAM & BW are needed?
Its gonna hold about 100 people to start with.

Would 1GB RAM & 2500GB BW be enough?
If less is needed please say so : )

Depends what emulator you plan to use, but i'd say 4G ->

Too have a good server in my opinion (which its pretty much base on opinion) you need this:

• Atleast 2 gb of ram (you may be able to slip with 1)
• Processor 2.0 or above ghz (most comps are these days)
• Atleast a like 50 gig HD ATLEAST
• A OS that is above Win2000

Thats about it and i dont suggest you go out and buy this because that be a huge waste of money so i suggest you look for someone that already has that and ask them to be your host.

1gig would be fine for aspire with out collision.

2gig atleast for aspire with collision.

And linux CentOS if you can use it. Otherwise windows server 2003.

1gig is way to low, you need atleast minimum 2gig.

depends what OS you are on

like on vista... you need like 1GB just to run vista, the server will use about 800mb RAM, plus youve got collision, other progs running, it would just rape your computer.

avoid vista if you can

xp i would say 2.5GB minimum, each player online uses map files which use ram, which si why the ram increases.
the more popular your server is, the more RAM it will need. the old server i used to work on, we had 6GB RAM, not sure about BW, and on a linux OS, that supported around 400-700 players depending on the time of day without lag.

also instances use more CPU and RAM, if you have leveling roads and malls in insatnces, thats a shit laod of people in 1 instance = more RAm and a better CPU is needed.
