2 questions... server spec and transfer

before i decide to go public, i need to know how many ppl i could host with these specs... Im hoping for 25-50 ppl max.

toshiba laptop @ 1.5 ghz and 1.5 ram still hanvt decided on internet provider but prbbly dsl

also, if i have to, is there a way to transfer my server from one computer to another with better specs?

Yes of course. All your work is saved in your database. You can use the same db for another server. You can always drop/backup your db and execute it later if you want.
