    Change Maxlevel?

    How do I change the maxlevel? I want it to be 29, atm it's 80.
    I have tried edit the arcemu-optional.CONF-file but it didn't work...
    <Optional StartingLevel="1"
    LevelCap="29"
    GenLevelCap="29"
    I read that admins can be what level he wants so I tried with a non-admin acc, and it still didn't work (I entered an admin char and did .level 80 on my non-admin char)
    I just added a new realm to my server and want it to be a twink realm with the levelcap 29

    That should be all you have to do.. Did you shut down and restart the server after changing the config? And why did you do .level 80 if you wanted the server to have a 29 level cap?

    Linkn - I did .level 80 just to try if it worked..but it didn't cuz I got to 80.

    Ye I edited the configs for the 2:nd realm. Restarted the server two times! and even deleted the Cache :O
    I think it's because a GM did .lev on me. Because GM:s can be what lvl he wants so maybe he can level up them to 80 even if there's a level cap on 29.
    I went on my GM and .lev 29 on a non-admin char and tried to do a quest when I was lvl 29. I didn't get any exp...
    So maybe it works, just that I have to lvl up by myself.

    If you set max level in conf's, it wont let you go past that level. Soooo. You should be able to set start level to 29, and max level to 29, so they start with a level 29 char.

    Nom Nom Nom :P

    If you use a GM command, it overrides what you have in the config. So make sure that it works on a normal account.
