How do i read crash dumps?

I am using vampirisms repack. Half of the time it will crash on world server startup and sometimes it crashes on shutdown. I would like to know how to open dump files to view what the issue is.

If you have enabled crashdumps you will see a folder named Crashdumps, open it, then find the file for the date the server crashed. Open it in VC++ and select debug, then it will point you to the error.

omg i have to reinstal vc++ lol. one reason i stopped compiling my own servers was to avoid c++.

If you're doing a server you'll always need to have VC++ available
