No changes made?

When Im replacing a blizzard item with my own... (just changing name for example in the db) then the change doesn't show. I can add the item to my bag but it will still use the previous name. But the .lookup item is for the new name tho and when I do .char add it says

"newname" item has been added to "playername's" inventory.

But still in the bag you see the old name. I have tried restarting the server and reloading the table but nothing seems to help. The changes never comes.

I believe that's a WoW error, remove your cache folder.

check you did everything right clean cache and restart server. that should work

Clear your cache, it still has the existing blizzard item from before, saved.

right, clear your cache, same with changed npc names
