Can you run a server off of an Xbox?

Well I know how to soft-mod an Xbox and install linux on it, Is that what you mean by serious modding?

Ok, But are the somewhat low specs of the Xbox hardware sufficient for running the emulator?

Well with the red ring of death and all...
I've got 3 xbox's, the first I got when it first came out, breaks every few months now.
2cd and 3rd I got recently, and they never break, but if I was running it 12 hours straight I think it would break again.
So when I said serious modding, you would need a better fan perhaps and actually be able to get the software to run a DB and emulater onto the xbox it's self.
Just my views Not an expert with 360 modding

A 360 would probably be able to handle it.
You'd need to get EMU software that was compatible with whatever you'd put on it and you'd probably need to make sure the XBOX doesnt overheat or something (the fans are crap since they're never really overclocked/on for long)
